SEAM is a community for professional writers.
Our forums are unique in that we favour intimacy over volume. Our community is small, but our members are working writers and mentors in theatre, television, film and fiction. Our private forums are not free. That is how we keep out any non-serious members of the public. Instead, we aim for a higher quality of conversation and a tighter-knit community.
Writing does not need to be a lonely business. Join our community and share the pain!
If you are a Storyteller, you can use the SEAM Studio to promote your work and reward your fans.
READ our introduction to SEAM - "What is SEAM?" for an overview of what "Audience Driven Entertainment" means to you.
Here's what you can do RIGHT NOW:
Start a Group
Step 1 - Create a Group - Click here to see our list of Groups and click on 'Create Group' to make your own. Create as many as you like.
Step 2 - Create Content - select 'enable discussion forum' to create your own forum to post updates, invite feedback & collaboration.
Step 3 - Attract Fans - get friends & family to join SEAM and your Group. Invite other SEAM members to do the same.
Step 4 - Reward Fans - offer rewards as incentives to people in our community. They can help develop, evangelise & distribute your work.
As your Group gains in popularity, you will attract the interest and assistance of other promotional & product placement partners in our community. This will lead to opportunities to take your project further.
Don't forget to join other Groups and show your support!
Write Content for Groups
You can always write film reviews for the SEAM Productions Film Club Group. This gives you a voice and an opportunity for other members to get to know you. Plus, we get to know you better, too!
You can also create pay-to-view content for any Group you like - including your own - and earn Points from other people's appreciation of your work.
SEAM LAB Perfect Pitch Script Competition
SEAM LAB will be holding a script pitching competition. It will be unlike other competitions in that it is partly crowd sourced and designed for RSD ("Rapid Script Development"). This is a process developed by the our team over the course of four years of experience working with 250 screenwriters throughout Europe in a peer-review workshop setting.
We are currently discussing this process in our forum. Click here to learn more about a Perfect Pitch.
Good Ideas Go Viral. Share yourself with the SEAM community and help other people to help you. It's a virtuous circle of audience & artists - supporting one another to get radical entertainment made.
Join the revolution. Let's get good entertainment where it belongs - in your face - not on the shelf!
